Privacy Policy
Kegelia is designed with your privacy in mind. Your exercise data stays on your device. We don't create accounts, we don't require sign-up, and we don't sell your data to anyone.
Who We Are
Kegelia ("we", "our", "us") is a pelvic floor exercise app for iOS.
This Privacy Policy covers both the Kegelia iOS app and our website at kegelia.app. Where a section applies only to the app or only to the website, it says so.

Data That Stays on Your Device
Your core data, including exercise history, programs, progress, and settings, is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. We do not access this data and it is not transmitted off your device. If you delete the app, this data is permanently removed.
Health and Sensitive Data
Kegelia does not collect, store, or transmit any health or medical data to external servers. All exercise-related information remains exclusively on your device. We do not integrate with Apple HealthKit or any health data platforms.
Data We Collect
We use a small number of third-party services to improve app stability and understand how features are used. These services may collect limited data as described below. We process this data based on our legitimate interest in maintaining and improving the app (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) and, for subscription processing, on the basis of contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b)).
Amplitude (Usage Analytics)
We use Amplitude to understand how the app's features are used, so we can improve them. Amplitude records in-app events, such as which screens and exercises you use, together with a device identifier generated for analytics. This information is not linked to your name or email, it is not used for advertising, and it does not identify you personally.
Firebase Crashlytics (Crash & Diagnostic Reports)
We use Google Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports and diagnostic information when the app runs into an error. This helps us find and fix bugs. The data may include device type, operating system version, and technical details of the crash.
In-App Purchases
Subscriptions are processed entirely through Apple's StoreKit framework. We do not collect or store any payment information. All purchase data is managed by Apple according to their privacy practices.
Website Analytics
This website (kegelia.app) uses Plausible Analytics to understand how visitors find and use our pages, so we can improve them. Plausible is a privacy-friendly analytics service that does not use cookies and does not collect any personal data or personally identifiable information. It does not track you across websites or build a lasting profile of you.
The data is aggregated and anonymous, for example page views, referring websites, and general country, browser, or device type. Analytics data is processed on servers located in the European Union. Because no personal data is collected and no cookies are used, there is nothing for you to opt out of and no cookie consent banner is required. You can read more in the Plausible data policy.
What We Don't Do
- We don't create user accounts or require sign-up
- We don't collect your name, email address, or phone number
- We do not use data for cross-app advertising or profiling
- We don't sell, share, or rent your data to third parties
- We don't display advertisements
- We don't use the Apple advertising identifier (IDFA)
- We don't access your camera, microphone, or location
Children's Privacy
Kegelia is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the minimum age required by applicable law. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at [email protected] and we will take steps to delete such information.
Data Retention
Since your data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it. Deleting the app removes all local data permanently and stops all data collection by the app. Analytics data retained by Amplitude and crash data retained by Firebase are subject to their respective retention policies. Website analytics collected by Plausible is aggregate and anonymous, and is subject to Plausible's retention policy.
Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or delete it. Since we don't collect personally identifiable information, there is generally no personal data for us to provide or delete. If you have questions about your rights, please contact us.
Third-Party Services
The third-party services we use have their own privacy policies:
